Miata Transmission shift turret blockoff plate

I'm currently in the middle of removing my engine and transmission from my NA Miata, and if you have ever pulled them together, you have to remove the shifter from the transmission. I didn't want to spill any of the fluid out of where the shifter goes, so I made a little plate to cover it. I may make a TPU "gasket" as well depending on if it leaks during the removal. I made two versions, one to use with the original bolts for the shifter, and one to use new shorter bolts which I believe at M6x1.0 (correct me if I'm wrong please) Edit: It did not leak (I used the spacer version with original bolts) however, it did empty the transmission fluid out the tailshaft where the driveshaft connects to. Maybe I'll try to design something to stop that as the ziplock bag and zip ties did not work.
