Miao Miao / Libre strap

Miao Miao / Libre strap

This thing holds together a freestyle libre sensor with a miao miao sensor so that no adhesive is needed and it will not fall off your arm. I built this for my 8 year daughter who is sensitive to the adhesive and moves about a lot in the night. All that is needed apart from the print is a length of 25mm wide elastic which can be bought pretty much anywhere. The tolerance on this thing is very tight and it can be worn without the strap but you risk knocking it and pulling the libre sensor off your arm. This is also a danger when removing the thing, I recommend putting a fingernail between the libre and miao using the hole provided and the two will pop apart. A window for the charger lead was provided for convenience. I am open to suggestions for alterations to the design, it did not take very long to make. The thing was created in fusion 360 by first creating both sensors then wrapping them in a 1mm shell. Strap fastenings were then added, plus small retaining lugs on the rim. Lastly the cut-outs for the charger and view/removal window were created before adding fillets for comfort and strength.
