Mi Band 4 stock charger mod
thingiverse
Xiaomi once again proves itself to be infamous for ill-conceived charger designs, and the MiBand is no exception. To rectify this mistake, one must resort to drastic measures. What's needed - a stock Mi Band4 charger. First, successfully print my modified version of it. Next, slice off the upper portion of the charger, just like in the image provided. Then, carefully cut away the remaining outer casing on all sides and the bottom. Be cautious at the bottom, as the case is molded or glued to the inner part of the casing, but don't be intimidated - proceed with caution, as seen in the photo. Once you've completed this step, slide one of my modified versions onto the charger, choosing either the version with screws or without them. I discovered that it works so well that screws are entirely unnecessary. If you attempt to print, remember that fractions of a millimeter can make all the difference. If you use different filament or your printer isn't calibrated correctly, you'll likely end up with mixed results. However, you can always try resizing. This prototype was created using eSun PLA+, while it was printed in Hobbyking PLAXblack, which offers a more snug fit compared to PLA+.
