Mi Band 2 Bracelet
thingiverse
I'm fed up with constantly buying a new wristband every three months. There's something about the internal sleeve that secures the Mi Band 2 that always peels off, and no amount of glue can fix it. In my search for a solution, I stumbled upon a project that uses flex filament. Since I don't have any flex filament on hand, and I've never used it before, I had no idea what to expect from the final results or how to set up my printer to get them right. The only part of this project that caught my eye was the capsule section without a wristband - that's all I needed. With this in mind, I designed a single-piece bracelet with some modifications to make it comfortable (it took me many attempts and several cuts on my own wrist). In the end, I've already retired my last original wristband. I'm eager to give this new model a try. I printed the design without any rafts, but added supports only to the main capsule hole - just enough to make it easy to clean inside. In my printer, scaling between 101.95% and 102.00% turned out to be the best fit (the same as the original project I found).
