Phone Case for Xiaomi Mi A1: My Experience With 3D Printing. I recently printed a custom phone case for my Xiaomi Mi A1 using a 0.6mm nozzle and PLA filament, without any supports. The model I used is MDG2, which works well with the specified settings. The print quality turned out great, and it snaps onto my phone perfectly. The fit is snug, but not overly tight - just right for a secure hold. What's more, it's slightly tricky to remove, which I think is a good thing. There are two variations of this design available: one with an open back that allows for easier printing and faster results, while the other features a closed back that provides better protection for my phone. I'm planning on experimenting with PETG filament next, as it's known for its durability and impact resistance. Based on initial results, I can confidently say that PETG works exceptionally well as a material for making phone cases.
