I always had a soft spot for this video game weapon, despite it being incredibly overpowered and bordering on making the game less fun to play. The design and concept of it were truly captivating, which is why I chose to model it in the first place. As my first firearm to model, it was a straightforward choice due to its simplicity. What's more, this project marked a new milestone for me - designing something modular, with separate parts that fit together seamlessly, all logically divided and easy to print. Although, it doesn't have moving parts... yet! Maybe one day, I'll tackle that challenge. Interestingly, this gun is based on the liberator pistol, which was secretly dropped behind enemy lines during World War 2 for use by resistance fighters in Poland. Despite its intended purpose as a single-shot pistol, it's said to have been a disappointing failure. Still, seeing it featured prominently in Metal Gear Solid games is always reassuring. I apologize again for not having any print pictures available yet. Unfortunately, my printer is currently out of commission and undergoing repairs. Once it's up and running, I'll make sure to post plenty of photos showcasing the finished prints.
