Print these parts in the same position as they are in the photo to avoid any elephants foot, which would make them difficult to fit properly. A very simple print that can come in very handy when trying to mount both Y Axis MGN12 rails nice and straight. Having a nice straight first rail as a guide for mounting the second rail in perfect alignment makes the whole job a lot quicker and easier. Instructions: First, install the left Y rail using your newly printed rail positioners. Next, you install both of the Y axis guides onto the X axis beam, then carefully slide one guide onto the left Y rail and the other onto the loose right Y rail (be VERY careful sliding them onto the rails or some of the little bearings in the guides will pop out and cause damage to the rails over time). Now, slide the X beam to the very bottom of both rails and lightly screw in the bottom screw of the loose rail. Keep the screw a bit loose so the bottom of the rail can move a bit if it has to as you continue, but tight enough to generally hold it in place. Then, gently slide the X beam up towards the top, so that the right rail becomes aligned with the left rail. As you gently slide the X beam up, loosely screw in each screw as you come to them, until you reach the top. Finally, you want to slide it up and down making sure it is all nice and straight, and the guides move smoothly without any areas binding. You may need to start over at the bottom again if you do get too much binding. This can be a very time consuming and annoying task sometimes, but it will be well worth the effort when your guides slide up and down the rails like butter. Happy Printing!!!
