MG996R Servo with Bracket (c) Roy Cooper 2022 Because I design and 3d print a lot of robotic arm accessories, I use MG996R servos to demonstrate how they work. I found that having to purchase the servos was not cost effective, especially if I only needed them for photographic or video functions. So I designed my 3d printable MG996R servo, with a rotating spindle. The spindle has an internal thread for connecting to jaws. One of the ‘base bodies’ has a 4mm hole through it, so that a rod can be used to place pressure against the underside of the spindle, whilst tightening the spindles accessory locking bolt at the top of the spindle. Alternatively the accessory can be fitted before joining the MG996R servo top to the base. All threads are M3 (3mm) More details about my robot arm attachments (also available for download) are shown on my website: https://www.robotarmjaws.com/
