MFT Table Jig (accurate)

Hi, here is a jig to make an MFT table top, using a piece of pegboard for accuracy.

It's designed for 3/4 in holes and 4 in spacing.

Material needed :

1 pegboard piece (I made the jig for home depot's pegboard with 9/32 holes)

Plunge router with 1" guide bushing

3/4 inch router bit

Just place and secure (clamp) the pegboard and use the jig to make holes with the router. Move 4 holes each time (pegboard holes are 1 in spaced).

The jig has 3 holes around to help positionning and avoid errors.

It's a little tight to ensure most accuracy as possible, however after some use it's less tight.

Also provide 2 bench dog to help positionninge the pegboard, the 'half pin' are to set fron the side (4 in), the 'full pin' are used if the pegboard is smaller than the table and you need to move it. You can add 14-20 x 1 1/4 bolt in the 'full pin' to make it stronger if needed.

And because we are fancy, I made a MM version, but you can print single material !

enjoy!

Print instructions

PLA, 0.3mm layer height
