MFJ-949D tuner light bar

If you're an amateur radio enthusiast with a MFJ949D, this print might be worth considering. My shack is relatively dimly lit, making it difficult to discern the settings on my tuner. To address this issue, I applied self-adhesive LED strip lights underneath the lip of the unit. For power, I simply connected them to my 12v radio supply. A black finish looks sleek for this application, but the design can accommodate various filament types. I opted for PLA with a .3mm thickness, two wall thicknesses, and 20% infill print settings. To secure the light bar in place, I removed the top two screws and sandwiched it in position. I also have a similar light bar designed for the MFJ-941E, available on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4352664.
