MFJ-945E antenna tuner side plates with mounting holes
thingiverse
Custom designed replacement side tables for the MFJ-945E antenna tuner are now available. This unique design fills a gap since the original tuner lacks mounting holes, prompting me to create them. This custom-made side plate is a snap-in replacement for the original plastic ones, offering a hassle-free installation process. Two versions of this part exist: one with a simpler design that uses less material but may be slightly flexible when printed in PETG, and another version that is stronger. Before mounting these custom side tables, four M4 hexagonal nuts must be inserted into the plates. The nuts will fit snugly, but if desired, they can also be glued in place for added security. The mounting holes are designed to accommodate M4 screws, spaced 67 mm apart from each other. For precise measurements, please refer to the attached image that outlines the dimensions of these mounting holes. When installing the modified antenna tuner, it is essential to use caution not to overextend the screws. Although there is limited space inside, using screws that are too long can cause them to touch or damage sensitive components within the device.
