Various files needed to recreate the modification I made are available. They should be easy to understand with the pictures, but if issues arise, feel free to reach out to me directly. For my own project, I printed all components in XT-CF20 material and found that two 8x22x7mm bearings were required. The slap damper came from Aliexpress via this link https://www.aliexpress.com/item/MT09-FZ09-CNC-Steering-Damper-Stabilizer-Linear-Reversed-Safety-Control-For-Yamaha-MT-09-FZ-09/32673579412.html?spm=2114.01010208.8.3.onAydT. Insert an M8 washer between the main 3D printed mount and the bottom bearing for stability. The forward end of the slap damper attaches to one of the existing holes on the rudder base, which requires drilling out and tapping for a screw. I added a 1mm Nylon washer to protect the base from slight rotation. If you don't use this washer, the part needs to be 1mm taller or a spacer should be printed. Tapping both holes on the main 3D printed part is recommended for secure attachment.
