Mexican Coat of Arms

Mexican Coat of Arms

myminifactory

The Coat of Arms of Mexico is the symbol you see at the center of their national flag. It tells the legend of an Aztec god guiding the Aztecs to build their new city - where they spotted an eagle devouring a snake while perched atop a cactus. The eagle on the flag and coat of arms is a golden eagle, grasping a rattlesnake in its talons as it stands on a prickly pear cactus. This legendary site was Tenochtitlan, now known as Mexico City. I've added two versions - one that stands upright on its own, and another that hangs freely!
