Metropolis Robot (Maria)
thingiverse
In "Metropolis" (1927), a renowned robot dubbed Maria graces the silver screen; reimagined in 3D using PLA on a MakerBot Replicator 2, this masterpiece is divided into three sections. Although creative liberties were taken, it maintains the original's essence, as seen in a promotional photo. This work remains a progress project, with plans to include props for an authentic touch. Printing at high resolution delivers optimum results, and rafts are recommended for each section, while support is only required for the head piece. Assemble, prime, and paint your masterpiece post-printing!
