Updated the Gearbox Sides, using 3.3mm cylinders instead of 2mm due to wandering thread and tap issues, making it easier to assemble yourself. 5/20/19 - Included an "Order of Operations Guide" titled "Metro 2033 Generator.docx" to construct this beast of a machine. Gear_Housing.stl (I forgot to add it before >.<) 5/15/19 - GearBox Top; GearBox Sides [note] Sand them so you can get a nice fit on the inner walls of the sides. 5/14/19 - 8 Tooth Gear; 24 Tooth Gear; Jam Nut [note] I didn't print these out myself, just for those who don't want to buy LEGO gear sets. The Jam nut is for locking the gears in place so they don't move laterally on the stop block axle connector. Gear Clutch#1; Gear Clutch#1.5; Handle Redacted Base v2; 3d Print Strengthener Base [note] If you printed out the older base, print out an additional strengthener and attach it with super glue and screws, if not, disregard. 5/04/19 - 20_Tooth_Gear_Fitted_to_gearbox 40_Tooth_Gear_Fitted_for_Lego axle connector 4/29/19 - Metro Generator - Inner Power Box - Cosplay Several of the parts featured have yet to be printed out. Electrode Insert uses "Gold Plated Audio Speaker Terminal 4mm Binding Post Banana Jack Plug" and a "Universal Replacement Pair Test Lead Cable Probe for Digital Multimeters Testing." Locked the two printed parts together with two 2x 2mm x 38mm screws. The Base is only used as a reference, cut it out using lighter aluminum or heavier steel. Anything subpar like thin plastic would snap under the load. Voltmeter uses "AC 0-200V Round Analog Voltmeter Voltage Panel Meter Dia. 66.4mm DH52." Went under the capacitance to save myself from exploding capacitors. Steel Holder and the Extension is only used as a reference, cut it or bend it using steel or aluminum. For the gearbox, I used: 2x gray 2.5" w stop cross axle connector gear Technic Robot 1x LEGO Technic LIGHT GRAY GEAR 24 TOOTH TEETH robot motor wheel 3648 Early Type 5x LEGO 3647 Technic Dark Stone Gray GEAR WHEEL with 8 Teeth (Narrow) 4 used x [5mmx16mmx5mm] 10X 625ZZ Miniature Model Rubber Sealed Metal Shield Metric Radial Ball KA The Handles are: FIRE EXTINGUISHER NOS STAINLESS STEEL VALVE LEVER ARM 4-5/8 L 1-3/16" W 1" H KIDDE 292602K NOS DRY CHEMICAL FIRE EXTINGUISHER SS HANDLE ARM 4-5/8" L 1" W All references to base plates should use aluminum or steel. *The Body.stl is used for a redacted portion, cut off the segment if you just want it as a cosplay.*
