Modified to Suit Bearings and Machine Screws, Idealized for a Secure Fit with Insulation Tape Packing. The concept of a filament straightener has been reimagined to seamlessly integrate bearings (696ZZ) and machine screws (M5 button cap) designed for hand use. Although the initial fit is somewhat loose due to the inner diameter of the bearings, a few strips of insulation tape can be used as packing material to achieve a snugger fit. For an even more secure installation, it's recommended that M6 button caps be used in conjunction with 6mm internal diameter bearings. The original parts are left intact and imported directly into the openSCAD files for easy modification.
