Metric nut sorting gadget M3, M4, M5, M6, M8
prusaprinters

If you are like me, you have various bins with nuts laying around from projects you want to sort into sizes “one day”. But never will….

Or you are Makerella and your evil step brothers wont let you go to the Makers Faire before those nuts are sorted.

Anyway this has you covered.

Stack the trays to a tower, put in your nuts into the top one and shake it till all is sorted.

Dont forget the lid or you have to collect your nuts from the floor.

The trays are marked with the sizes they let fall through. So if you only sort M3, and M5 you only need those, the lid and the blank tray. If you want to use a big amount of nuts you can extend the trays with the extension tube.

I dont think its neccessary to say this, but use the biggest sizes on top and go down in size to the bottom.

Supports: Only supports on bed are neccessary.

Tip: Print with at least 4 perimeters in the bottom (hint: use mesh modifiers in prusa slicer) in case your printer gets the holes to small and you need to use a deburring tool or similar to make them the correct size.

<oembed url="https://vimeo.com/698385474"></oembed>
