A clamp for securing a meterstick parallel to a 3/4" support rod, intended to make measuring height changes in science experiments such as Hooke's Law a bit easier. The picture does not show that there are sockets for standard 1/4-20 hex nuts on the inside of the thumbscrew holes - the nuts accept 1/4-20 thumbscrews like the ones shown. Don't over-tighten the thumbscrew on the meterstick, as doing so may cause cracking where the thumbscrew feature meets the body of the clamp.
