This design aims to replace a malfunctioning lock shaft within an external UK gas meter enclosure. Its simplicity and the numerous variations in meter box designs led me to make it highly customizable. The M3 bolt runs almost the entire length of this part, serving as reinforcement and holding the locking pawl in place within the meter box. The internal bore is designed with clearance for an unthreaded screw shaft inserted through the open end.
