Meteor Madness

Here are the files for a fully functional 3D printable Meteor Madness. I received a LanLan Crazy Comet last year, and I thoroughly enjoyed solving it. I became fascinated with the design of the puzzle and discovered that there were two more similar puzzles made by Oskar van Deventer. Unfortunately, Meteor Madness and Asteroid Attack have not been mass produced. So, I searched for the puzzles on Onshape and found a Meteor Madness design by Tom Koster. I edited the original design and printed it, and was quite pleased with the puzzle. The puzzle turned out so well I decided to share it here. I split all the pieces in half so you don't have to use supports. Just glue the two halves of the pieces together. I also included the unsplit versions as well if you would prefer to print them whole. I used petroleum jelly as my lubricant, and I didn't sand the pieces at all. I added the CAD file for those who want to edit this model. What you will need: Prints: 1x Core 6x Caps 6x Centers 9x Edges 14x Corners Hardware: 6x M3x20 Bolts 6x 0.5x4x10 Springs I hope you enjoy this design. If you print this, please post a make, so I can see how it turned out. All credit to Tom Koster for the original design. Turn Quality: https://youtu.be/yFgFPtj7flQ
