Mountpoint for Chinese MeteorLEDs obtained during every China sale. I acquired 30cm and 50cm versions, always wanting to create a half sun or full sun using them. The tubes fit perfectly and there's sufficient room inside for cables. My goal was to recreate the sun effect or something seen in an old disco, where convenient little 12V lamps were scattered throughout. Please note that this is a work-in-progress design, not perfect due to its rapid creation in Tinkercad within a 10-minute timeframe. I've already identified numerous areas for improvement. Although the holes aren't entirely accurate, it was created freestyle and I'm not skilled in 3D design. However, my primary objective was to achieve this specific mountpoint. To print, use one MeteorLED with 8 tubes on both front and back sides. Initially, I needed to drill the 3mm holes up to 4mm in size because smaller screws weren't available. The upper middle hole serves as a mountpoint for wall placement; you'll need a longer screw for this purpose. For a sun design, print two copies and then glue them together or drill two holes for assembly. You could also insert a hanger in the middle for ceiling mounting. Enjoy your creation!
