I submit a revolutionary 3D Education print for competition, dubbed MetaPLA, a model of the molecular structure of PLA itself. This innovative design necessitates printing in no-dye PLA to ensure authenticity. As a representative of the Materials Engineering department, I aimed to showcase our expertise in material analysis and molecular structures, pivotal topics within this field. The submitted model file contains two designs: one showcasing the final product's appearance and another consisting of two components meant to be printed separately and assembled using cyanoacrylate, preventing messy bridging and support issues altogether.
