We used a 2 mm pencil lead, similar to the Faber-Castell TK9071. For the actuated pencil, we recommend using soft lead. If you have a single extruder printer, it's best to print the parts separately due to support requirements and the difficulty of separating Ninjaflex. Check the video for areas that need gluing. We printed with an Ultimaker 2 at 100% infill without rafts, using Ninjaflex material with a 0.4 mm nozzle.
