When speed isn't everything. When winning isn't all about being first. That's when MetalSlug 250 FPV Racer comes into play. This is a heavy, bulky, yet adorable little FPV Racer. The motor tubes are made of durable material with a diameter of 10mm and length of 180mm, expertly glued in place using fluid cyano. At the bottom, there's a cleverly designed vented chamber to house four ESCs. In the middle, a spacious chamber is dedicated to Naze32 or CC3D flight controllers. The top bay is perfectly suited for a 3S2200 Zippy battery. To take it up a notch, an upright motor pod has been added for 30mm diameter motors. And for those who want even more performance, another upright motor pod with a 10° tilt allows for the use of 6-inch props. The MK2 Fuselage boasts some exciting modifications from its predecessor, the MK1. Gone are the internal carbon plates and screws, replaced by a system where motor tubes are glued to one semi-fuselage using fluid cyano. The other semi-fuselage stays in place thanks to friction and battery straps. A CC3D plate has been cleverly integrated from Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:95644), with the added twist of rotating it 90°. I'm currently building it with an MK1 fuselage, which I already have on hand, paired with new upright motor pods. The motors in use are Mystery A2208-14 1450Kv, which I happen to have. At 3S, they'll require 6-inch props. It's possible that a faster motor might be even better suited for this build. Unfortunately, the electronic bay is a bit cramped, forcing me to bend the ESC connectors on the CC3D just to clear the ceiling.
