MetalBane Sawzall blade handle
thingiverse
There may already be a few of these around, but while I was at the hardware store, I spotted a few and couldn't help laughing at how much they were asking for something so simple to print. I didn't even think to look here for one; instead, I just wanted to design something up pretty quickly for practice and fun. I decided to give the handle a slight curve to add another dimension of control, and it has worked out great so far. It was designed to be interchangeable, but at around $1.50 each to print, I'm just going to have one for each blade to make transition speedier when I'm in "The Zone". All the extra parts you'll need are a socket head 3/4 in 6-32, a nylon nut, and a washer. Well, I suppose you also need a blade, but still... I chose the Diablo blades, but I'm sure it will work with other brands of blades just fine. I wanted the fit to be snug, so if it is a bit difficult to slide a blade that's a little thick into the slot, heat the end up a little with a lighter or propane torch enough to work it into place. Bam! Now you have a dueling blade ready for the next piece of bar stock or square tubing that tries to get fresh with you.
