Metal-Tipped Straight Suction Cup Helmet Horns
myminifactory
A follow up to the suction cup helmet horns, here's two different sizes of straight horns to stick on your helmet. The metal tips are because FDM doesn't print points too well, and this is much cooler. Useage notes: If the curvature of your helmet makes it so the spike falls off, take out the suction cup, evenly suction it to the surface, then apply the horn. If the curvature is such that the horn is floating off the surface and looks stupid, remove the horn, put the suction cup in it until it bottoms out, then apply it to the helmet. These problems are the inverse of eachother, so they shouldn't crop up at the same time. Slicing instructions: Print it like an icecream cone. Put a couple of support pillars on each cardinal direction to make sure it doesn't topple over. Assembly: stick the screw down the shaft and thread it through the top hole. Back the screw out enough to sand the top surface until the spike threads on flush with the top surface and isn't proud of the conicular surface. Insert the appropriately sized suction cup: Suction Cup pack what has the sizes you need (the two larger ones): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08ZS7MV1K?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 metal screw studs: amazon.com/dp/B00UOXGR14?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share I don't get kickback from these links, so if you can find these cheaper, lmk.
