Metal detector arm cuff

Metal detector arm cuff

thingiverse

Hello everyone, my Garrett detector's arm cuff broke, so I designed a new one using Sketchup. It's currently being printed, and I'll drill the holes later. Since detector hole placements vary, I uploaded a picture without the holes. UPDATE: I removed the old Sketchup file and added a new one with an improved back cuff support. I will remove the STL file and update it as well. Please share photos of your built version! I printed mine on a Wanhao Duplicator 4 using bright green PLA at 230 degrees. The heated bed was set to 60, and I lightly brushed Acetone/PLA on the surface before printing. The layer height was 0.3, infill 100%. Printing took 5 hours and 34 minutes. I also had to edit the G-code line M109 S110 T1 (set HBP temperature) by changing 110 to 60 before printing. This helped prevent warping issues, which I've experienced a lot with previous prints.
