This precision cutting blade served as a valuable training tool for capturing thin objects with accuracy: it was securely positioned vertically to prevent movement during scanning, and carefully placed on an A4 sheet of paper featuring text - this guaranteed smooth tracking along the thin edge. Erasable markers were strategically applied to the flat areas of the blade to clearly distinguish between its two sides. To minimize glare from the otherwise reflective surface, dulling spray was used for coating. The cutting blade was successfully scanned using Artec Space Spider technology.
