Here's the rewritten text. Finally, after exhaustively trying a multitude of printed extruders, I decided to design something simple yet robust enough to accommodate various kinds of filaments, including both 3mm and 1.75mm, as well as distinct types and sizes of idler/gear/bolt combos, but utilizing only M3 screws like all my other creations. To boost the part's overall durability and resistance, I strategically added reinforcements in certain areas to allow for the use of various push fits. However, obtaining optimal tension remains the most challenging aspect. Printer Settings Printer: meta.frame.XL Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.3-0.5 Infill: 80-100 Notes: Tested on several printers, and they print flawlessly without any issues, also used for a considerable period now with no single problem detected. Assembly requires some precise drilling to perfectly align the component on your preferred idler bolt. I used M3 throughout but employing M3 ball bearings is not obligatory; create an idler that's as snug as possible, and don't hesitate to carefully make some scalpel cuts if any friction exists. Unfortunately, a certain level of effort is unavoidable for this all-purpose part. After carefully heating the push fit and firmly screwing it into place, cement it using some super glue or hot glue to guarantee its position. Ensure that the push fit is precisely centered before cementing it so the filament can be smoothly pushed instead of hitting any obstacle. Determining the correct spring tension proves to be the most arduous task. In general, for 3mm filaments, I opt for the strongest spring that fits and then shorten it until I achieve the required output level. Notably, 1.75 mm filaments can also operate well at similar tension levels.
