During the war with Lotaringia, "Alfred" performed well in space battles, but was still imperfect. Frequent damage to maneuvering engines and frequent losses due to enemy unmanned hunters forced modifications to the fighter. In 439 years after the First Dispatch, the first batch of Messerschmitt Bf 209 B (Bruno) was created - a more advanced version of the previous model. Two booster ion engines LM3 doubled speed, while eight small ion engines LM1 installed on wings increased maneuverability, allowing easy evasion of enemy hits. The new model also featured a tail-mounted machine gun LP6, which helped in destroying pursuers. The pilot was located in a stasis chamber and connected to the aircraft through a neural interface.
