Meshtastic esp32 HELTEC v3/v3.1 usb-C + UPS
thingiverse
i wanted to make a LoRa device router with UPS capability and uninterrupted functionalities.I stumbled upon the 2 great projects by devlab and adamziegler!!!Eventually I cretaed an interface for replacing the top cover of the UPS module and integrate the LoRa case on it.Pictures attached, very easy to assemble. There is no hole through the cover to run the 5V cable, I use the soldering iron to make a hole in the PLA (easiest way to do it depending on the lenght of the jumper you have). The UPS 5V are connected to pins 5V and GND of the board using a couple of jumpers. To make it easy maintenance the header is soldered on the board and jumpers go into it (I soldered only the 2 pins 5v/GND on the board).Charger goes into the UPS and when power goes down or the brick is moved elsewhere, the UPS keeps it running without interruption for a long time.Have fun
