Expert mesh modelers, let's get started on this Blender exercise! Our goal is to craft a beautiful mesh using only quads. No triangles allowed! First, create a new project and add a plane object by going to "Add" > "Mesh" > "Plane". Name it "base" for reference later. Now we'll focus on creating our quad mesh from scratch. Start by selecting the plane and then enter Edit Mode by pressing Tab. We're now in Edit Mode, where we can manipulate the vertices of our mesh directly. To create a new face (or quad), click on an edge while holding Shift to select it. Then, click on another edge to create a new face. Keep doing this until you have a solid mesh. To make sure everything is smooth and even, go to "Mesh" > "Faces" > "Quad Face". This will automatically convert any triangles into quads for us. Now let's move on to some more advanced techniques!
