Mesh cover for dog wound 3
thingiverse
Modified version of previous pet wound cover with the following changes: 1-made wider (3"x3-1/2"; prev versions were too small) 2-removed wings (I thought they could be used to wrap the bandage around, but, the entire thing kept slipping out of the bandage, and I didn't think I could make the wings longer (from nose to tail) without making the pet uncomfortable) 3-added a torus (placed against the pet's body in hopes that it keeps the mesh off the pet, which may have caused irritation; I have a hunch that I'll have to make it higher (currently 1/16" high) and/or narrower to expose more of the mesh) IMPORTANT: This "thing" should be reusable, but must be cleaned between bandage/wrap changes to remove blood, pus, skin, fur, dirt, dust, etc, which may infect the existing wound. I recommend printing it in all white to make it easier to see accumulated junk. Hand wash with plain soap and water; rinse and dry thoroughly.
