Mesh Ball in a Mesh Ball (separated)
thingiverse
Initially, I faced issues in separating the support structure from the inner ball; thus, I imported it into Blender and divided the outer and inner balls along with their respective supports. Afterward, I hollowed out the support structure. The original support, as well as the inner and outer balls, are available within the Blender file, arranged in distinct layers for convenience during editing or composition. Additionally, STL files have been included for both combinations: the two balls together along with the hollow support, and the separate balls. To print, you may choose to combine all pieces as meshball-hollow-support or print the inner piece first, followed by the outer one, inserting the inner piece within the outer when it surpasses its height. Although this method has not been tested for this specific design, it has proven effective with other models.
