Taller of the Master Craftsman\nCa. 1103-1110\nGranite\nOne of the reliefs belonging to the lost Paradise Facade of the cathedral has been recovered. This facade was replaced in the central decades of the XVIII century by the current Azabachería facade, through which medieval pilgrims accessed the cathedral, hence it also received the name Porta Francígena. \nIts iconographic program and sculptural decoration are carefully described in the Calixtino Codex, making reference to a set of reliefs that were located on the left side doors, representing the months of the year. One of those reliefs is this one, where a man appears warming himself by the fire, corresponding to the month of February.
