Mermaid Thumb Ring designed specifically for metal casting and metal 3D printing. Most rings are modeled with a US size of 8, which has a diameter of approximately 18.14mm. When scaled up, there will be no issue with wall thickness, especially in most metal 3D printing cases. To scale up a ring to fit your finger size, use Meshmixer, a free software from Autodesk. Import the ring and choose Analysis/Measure from the left menu. Measure the inner diameter of the ring by selecting Type: edge to edge, Direction: outward (n), and Snapping mode: Snap to Vertices. Click on the inner diameter of the ring, and you'll get a red line with a reading on the right side. To scale up, go to Edit menu/Transform, increase any size value, ensuring Uniform Scaling is checked. Repeat the measuring process until you get your correct finger size. Once done, export the model as STL Binary Format, which is recommended. All published models are sold for personal use only. If you need a model for commercial use, please contact me.
