Mermaid Melody: microphone

Hello everyone, how many of you know the Mermaid Melody? In this project I present one of the main accessories for the idol version: the microphone of the mermaid princesses. # WARNINGS The version that I share is Luchia's microphone model, but it may not be correct for all other protagonists. Feel free to adapt the file and make sure to always share your modifications publicly. # MODELING PROGRAM I used Rhinoceros 5 to create the design and exported it in STL format. If you need the file to edit or modify it, contact me at luca.sarga@fablabbergamo.it and I'll respond as soon as possible. # PRINTS The model was printed with a Zortrax printer using n-ASA filament with a diameter of 1.75mm and a layer height of 0.15mm. # POST PROCESSING I applied a coat of white spray putty to the entire microphone, allowing it to dry for several hours before covering the white parts with tape. I then used blue spray paint for details and pink nail polish for the pearl accents. # TIMEFRAME Modeling took about 1 hour, printing required 3-4 hours, and post-processing needed 2 days due to drying time. # REASONING I created this project for a close friend who is passionate about Luchia's cosplay. I find her portrayal of the character wonderful, and it brings me joy to see her having fun with it. # DISCLAIMER The characters from Mermaid Melody were designed by Pink Hanamori and published by Kōdansha.
