The creature is a terrifying fusion of lion and angler fish, conjured from the darkest recesses of a surreal, horror-filled mind. Born from the twisted idea of what might lurk in an underwater cave, this monstrous being takes its cue from the mythical merlion. In 3ds Max, I first brought the creature to life with precision modeling, then transported it to Mudbox for a gruesome makeover, where sculpting and texturing transformed it into a nightmarish reality.
