Merlin's Star V2.0 with movable ring

Merlin's Star V2.0 with movable ring

thingiverse

This is a revised version of a mystical amulet inspired by the legendary wizard Merlin. There's a ring adorned with ancient runes on its exterior and another one featuring the symbols of the zodiac. The central part is a magical pentagram. If you follow these instructions, you can rotate the second ring to create various combinations of runes and zodiac signs - perhaps those combinations are necessary for different spells? **Instructions** 1. Print all parts at the smallest possible resolution. Consider using an infill of 50% or more to give it a bit of weight. 2. Paint it in silver or gold, adding a black wash if desired. Use a thin color coat or no color on unseen areas. 3. Attach the outer ring with runes to the backplate. 4. Insert the second ring with zodiac symbols without glue, allowing for easy rotation. Avoid painting unseen parts to prevent stickiness from excess color. 5. Secure the middle part featuring the pentagram in place. Once all parts are correctly positioned, you can rotate the second ring with the zodiac signs around. I've adjusted each component to fit together smoothly, leaving a slight gap between them. If it doesn't fit perfectly (you struggle to move the second ring easily), try adjusting it to your needs. May the magic be with you!
