Human uses a shotgun mercury tube to significantly reduce felt recoil on their RPR 338 rifle model. The design involves printing twice on one side, mounting it under the check rest. Using ABS material and multiple layers results in a solid print. To enhance layer quality, human runs separate processes in Simplify3D to increase top and bottom layer thicknesses and tighten screw holes to 100% density. Assembled with preferred hardware, cheap M8 button heads from Amazon are used for this project.
