Mercedes W116 Trunk Triangle Holder

My 1979 Mercedes 300SD came with a reflective triangle in the trunk when I purchased it, but as a US-spec car, it never had the corresponding bracket to hold it in place on the boot lid. Furthermore, I haven't been able to track down an actual picture of the w116-specific part, much less find one for sale. After a couple months of cancelled orders (plenty of sellers list the associated part numbers for sale, but no one can actually get them) and zero hits on my eBay saved searches, I got tired of waiting. I took several measurements, spent some quality time in Sketchup, and this is what I came up with. The pictured hardware (4 x plastic rivets, a #10-24 x 1.5in screw, nut, and wingnut) I had on hand, but something very similar should all be readily available at your local home or auto parts store.
