The SQUIR team has created an intricate 3D model, ready to render in 3ds Max without any additional plugins. All necessary settings are included for rendering with standard 3ds Max and Mental Ray shaders. The scene setup is designed for 3ds Max 2012, but it can be used with newer versions as well; older versions may require minor adjustments. This model comes in three different 3ds Max files: an uncollapsed version for editing, a hipoly version collapsed with cleaned modifier history for use in other programs, and a studio version with rendering setups used for previews.
