Mercedes C300 Phone Mount (2015-2018)

This is a phone mount for your 2015-2018 C300. The frame wraps around the touchscreen and serves as the attachment point. No car functions are blocked, and no permanent changes are made to your car. Recommend printing in ABS. Supports only needed for the curved arm portion. To complete this you will also need: 2 x M3-40mm cap head screws 2 x m3 heat set threaded inserts (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077CL322T/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) A car phone cradle with a swivel ball mount. For Example: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07R1QZ8V1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The phone cradle ball and stem are removed from it's mounting system, and mounted via the 5mm hole, using a nut to secure it. The heat set inserts are set into the side piece, the frame is wrapped around the screen, and the side piece gets the phone arm inserted into it. At that point you can place the side piece and arm in it's position, and use the 40mm screws to secure the whole thing together in place. I have printed all parts myself and tested, it works great. Will add final result photo once I do some acetone smoothing on the parts. This took a lot of time and experimenting to create, so if you find it useful and are so inclined, tips are appreciated.
