Other formats are exported at a single resolution and can be further subdivided for added detail. The exported 3ds, max, fbx, and obj formats are optimized to work seamlessly with popular modeling software such as Maya and LightWave. Using the FBX file is highly recommended, as it preserves critical material properties, object hierarchy, UVW coordinates, and quad geometry. The 3DS format also retains basic material properties, hierarchy, and UVW coordinates, although all geometry is converted to triangles. The MAX format includes hierarchy, quad geometry, TurboSmooth, and standard materials. In contrast, the OBJ format only preserves quad geometry and UVW coordinates. Each file format (except for OBJ) features a hierarchal structure of parent-child objects ready for manual animation or automated rigging using car animation plugins. All mesh components are joined under an empty object used as their pivot point, allowing for seamless integration and control. Materials, textures, and objects are meticulously organized to enable users to create custom materials compatible with various render engines. The native C4D version includes exclusive features enabled through Xpresso technology (no keyframes required), which provides smooth operation even in conjunction with AR or Physical render motion blur. This format also includes exterior and interior lighting effects, automatic reverse lights, and brake lights.
