Materials Collection: Mental Ray Procedural Tiles 1×2 Color Noise Tested with success in 3D MAX 2009 and later versions. Materials are fully compatible with Mental Ray render. All materials were designed using procedural maps only. Each map in the materials is specifically set for Explicit Map Channel. To achieve proper tiling, use UVW modifiers to adjust tile size accordingly. System Unit Scale: Measured in precise Millimeters. Enable Gamma Correction with a setting of Gamma 2.2 for optimal results. The default preview material does not display tiling when maps utilize Explicit Map Channel. For an option to enable tiling display within the Material Editor, it is highly recommended to check 'Use Real-World Map Size for Geometry Samples' in Options. Furthermore, set small values for Render Sample Size, such as 2.0mm, for best results.
