Women without access to proper sanitation facilities and sanitary products like pads and tampons often face particularly daunting challenges. In some rural areas, the situation is even more dire, with menstruating women ostracized by their communities. The lack of proper sanitation can lead to numerous problems and fatalities. Menstrual cups, on the other hand, are a highly effective and clean alternative to traditional pads and tampons. This 3-part mold design makes it easy to craft menstrual cups at home. Given that this product is intended for sanitary use, I recommend printing the mold using PET or PLA plastic and utilizing food-grade or medical-grade silicone. Before and after molding, thoroughly disinfect all components with rubbing alcohol. Once the silicone has hardened, carefully open the mold and trim away any excess silicone that remains from the molding process.
