Menger Sponges

Menger Sponges

I created a Menger sponge fractal in Solidworks and OpenSCAD, with SLDPRT files at level 3 (the highest complexity I could achieve) and level 4 (generated by exporting the level 3 as a parasolid, then importing it into a new part and combining 20 bodies). The OpenSCAD file includes a parameter for fractal levels (0-4), although it crashes at level 5. I successfully rendered a level 4 sponge in OpenSCAD but the process took hours. Additionally, I have STLs ranging from level 0 (a regular cube with no holes) to level 5 (4681 holes per side and intersecting), although the level 5 STL is large, involving almost 10 million triangles and weighing 500 MB. Proceed with caution when handling the level 5 STL file.
