The Y-endstop bracket for Mendelmax requires the Y slide from Trinity Labs. This bracket has been modified with added SCAD files and uses M2.5 screws that fit through the switch securely. It is crucial to use support material during printing, as forgetting it may affect the print quality. The switch used is SS-3GL13P. Attach the switch using M2.5x14 bolts/nuts and ensure there are nut traps in the back for better fitment. The bracket screws into a t-slot nut with M5x10s. Note that this mount is designed to prevent carriage collision before the head goes off the usable build area, especially if you use firmware like Marlin that can home outside the build area. If your firmware doesn't support this feature, consider using an adjustable endstop, better firmware, or let slic3r handle print area constraints while the firmware protects the machine.
