This object serves as a compact plate for installing Sub-Miniature switches on my MendelMax 1.5. The fans and lights are already wired to toggle between ON, OFF, and PWM settings through Pronterface, where the PWM output varies from the ramps board. Switches can be inserted easily with their 6mm collar seated snugly in place. To secure it, simply screw into the upper two slots on top of the "triangle" frame of the MendelMax 1.5, using longer screws than originally required to compensate for a slight design tweak I made to adapt it to my needs. As a minor mistake came up during construction, the edges were slightly mishandled due to an experimental move; despite that minor setback, the project proceeded and taught me something new about 3D printing techniques. To assemble the mounting plate successfully without major complications: First, choose a sturdy print material like PLA or ABS for added strength and resistance against warping during high-temperature prints. When installing switches, position them according to your needs on top of MendelMax 1.5 using these 6mm collar-friendly holes on this specially crafted assembly plate for convenient handling. Using long screws securely mounts the plate firmly onto its upper two-screw-requiring frame slots of the main 3D printed unit; you should also apply a minimal supporting raft while keeping your prints stable and flat to enhance performance. Note: Printing instructions: A sturdy 6mm switch holder fits snugly over MendelMax frames without taking away space in its compact layout that also has the features such as turning fans on/off/pwm settings which helps make prints go smoothly and successfully through ramping of their print head height for proper calibration of layer by layer building blocks of an image desired at the end.
