MendelMax Stronger Lower Vertex Frame Plastic with small Feet

Originally designed in OpenSCAD, this printable frame is easy to modify and compatible with older STL files. Add strength by surrounding the plastic walls. Choose from two versions, one with an extra cross featuring thicker walls and a 5mm backplate compared to the other version with 4mm plate. This print works well as it's easier to achieve accuracy in printing this type of frame than MendelMax frame plastic. Print two designs, mirror them, and print another two. Compatible with original MendelMax plastic, with upper extrusions at a 60-degree angle and a distance of 50mm between the lowest layers. Both Cura and Slic3r have their advantages and disadvantages; only a close-up photo would show differences. The CURA print of version '2a' weighs 24g with 40% infill, while the Slic3r print is 37g using honeycomb and solid printed walls. Further experimentation with printing settings will be attempted to improve the part.
